Kevin Carroll has recruited in biopharma for 23 years and Carroll Search Partners focuses on recruiting C and VP level executives for entrepreneurial biotech companies.
Prior to starting Carroll Search Partners, Kevin was retained exclusively by Third Rock Ventures for two and a half years to recruit CEOs and CBOs for the firm’s new companies. During that period, he also successfully recruited CEOs, CBOs, CFOs, VPs of Human Resources, CMOs, and independent board members for the firm’s new and existing portfolio companies.
Prior to his Third Rock Ventures’ engagement, Kevin worked with boutique executive search firms Bowdoin Group and Euromedica. He began his career in the life sciences industry in 1994 as a representative for Bristol Myers Squibb. Kevin also worked as an investigator with Bishops, Wall Street’s oldest due diligence firm and military experience includes several years as an Army Aviator/Officer. Kevin’s education did not stop after graduating from Providence College. He has completed executive leadership programs at Cornell, MIT Sloan, and Worcester Polytech in addition to attending the MBA program at Boston College.
In 2011, Kevin partnered with Steve Rauscher to help establish BioPharm Physicians, a highly focused search practice concentrating exclusively on Chief Medical Officers and senior physician executives for biotech companies. In addition to collaborating on physician searches, Carroll Search Partners and BioPharm Physicians organize networking events for the Boston Chief Medical Officer Network.


Terri Angotto’s retained executive search career has spanned more than 25 years with experience gained at both premier global search firms as well as the most highly regarded life sciences boutiques. Terri has planned and executed the strategy to develop ideal candidate matches with each client’s specifications. She has supported private equity, venture backed and publicly traded biopharma and medical technology clients. She has repeatedly engaged on projects where “best/first in class technology” drove the need for exceptional talent to be identified. Terri spent the first 18 years of her career at Heidrick & Struggles, serving as the chief researcher and recruiter to the Global Head of the Life Sciences Practice. She was a Founder of Heritage Partners and also worked for Catalyst Advisors, both highly specialized boutique firm working exclusively in biopharmaceuticals. Terri can quickly differentiate the best talent and coach clients on successful talent acquisition strategies.

Greg Cello assists Carroll Search Partners in candidate research and mapping projects for the commercial, financial, and physician executive talent markets.
Greg has analyst experience from Biogen and Brooks Hill Partners.
Prior, Greg served as an Army Captain with the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan. He was a Pre-Med, microbiology major and Division 1 swimmer at Providence College.
